🟢⚪"Who's Mo?"🟢⚪
St. Maurs are the opposition in Bremore.
The girls go through their pre-match warm up as the coaches ask the usual questions.
"Girls, have you all got your water bottles?"
"Are the gum shields in?"
"Are your laces tied?"
Finally the girls are told - "Mo is our FLO today, she'll be looking after you"
One of the girls ask. . . . "who's Mo?" (At this point Mo has been with us for a number of weeks).
Hilarity ensues as the place erupts into fits of laughter.
With that analogy, let us tell you who Mo is.......
The girls & coaches are very grateful to have two of the best FLOs they could ask for , Sinead and Mo. On a weekly basis they go above and beyond to make sure everything runs smoothly.
We are absolutely blessed that as a small group we all get along. No arguments. No disagreements. All of us are in it for the same reason.
It just works.
Due to a new chapter opening in her life our little back room team will be minus one vital cog going forward.
Mo, you furnish the girls with an unwavering level of kindness, compassion and support each week.
The comforting arm around the girls' shoulder, the reassuring whisper in their ear "you'll be ok" to encourage them back onto the field if they've taken a knock.
The never ending help you've given the coaches (in between the spa breaks).
The laughs. The occasional bit of divilment, the friendships that have been forged, the endless dedication to the team - all of it will be sorely missed.
Along with all of the above, there are two unbelievably dedicated young ladies who are part of what you've brought to the team - Mia and Katie.
Two remarkably brave and driven girls.
A pleasure to coach. Always willing to listen and learn. Always making themselves available for selection.
On the toughest of days they can be relied upon.
The head count will be three less when the season resumes after the summer break but the gap left will be far greater.
We wish you, Conor, Mia, Katie & Jamie the very best with the move.
Where possible remember to Keep It Green.
From all the players, the parents, Damien, Joe, Stephen Early, Stephen Molloy, Ken , Sinead & Dave, all that's left to say is . . . .
There's no show like a Mo show.
......and remember
