O'Dwyers Junior Adult Ladies played their last game of the season on Sunday away to St Kevins. O'Dwyers were leading at the break and managed to stretch their lead early in the second half.. but 2 disallowed goals for square ball and some unfortunate yellow cards cost us the match. This brings our season to an end.

The team and management would like to thank the Club, the Minor team & management and all the O'Dwyers faithful for all your help and support this year.

Last season our goal was simply to field a team each week, which we achieved playing over 20 games with great support from both U.16's and minor players.

This year our goal was to build the squad , bringing in more adult players and also to be more competitive in our games. This we also achieved as the adult numbers improved slightly while still depending on our minor players to continuing to field teams at Junior adult level.

We played 21 games over League, Cup and Championship competitions winning 10 and drawing 1. So this was also an improvement on last year, where we only had 1 win and 1 draw for the entire season.

Looking forward, we hope to have several players moving up to Junior football from our current minor panel.

We would like to wish both the Senior Adult Ladies and also the Minor Ladies all the best of luck in their upcoming Championship Finals and Semi Finals respectively

The future of Ladies Adult Football in O'Dwyers is very very bright indeed.
