Team of the week this week are the U-16 ladies team who had a superb 1 point victory over St. Sylvester’s on Sunday afternoon in the championship. The junior footballers had a good win over St Bridget’s in the League on Sunday afternoon while the u-9 hurlers defeated Scoil ui chonail, The u-10 hurlers shared the spoils with Parnell’s and the u-11 hurlers had 5 points to spare over wild geese on Saturday morning. The U-14 girls traveled to Tallagh on Friday evening to play St Anne’s in the championship loosing by 9 points with only 10 mins remaining they battled back to earn a draw typifying there superb attitude, while the U 8 Hurlers travelled to Rush for a blitz on Saturday morning with all the kids really enjoyed there morning and medals Thank you to all who supported our monster outdoor bingo not the greatest of days but well supported, there will also be a pre All Ireland bake sale and coffee morning this Saturday the 21st and we would encourage all members to attend for more info from Mary Kenny 083-0053937 The Skills Camp continues each Saturday morning from 11-12.30 on our Main pitch and is a great for parents who wish to introduce their Children to Gaelic games in a safe and fun environment.
