Team of the week is the U12 footballers sponsored by Moriarty’s SuperValu, who had a great win over Whitehall on Saturday morning, the team played an exciting brand of football to come out victorious on a score line of 6-5 to 3-4. Elsewhere on the field the U14 hurlers drew at home to Castleknock, while the U11s suffered defeat at the hands of Ballinteer .The U-9s also fell victim to a strong Craobh Ciaran side, with the U10 footballers winning both their games against Eirn Go Bragh in a lively contest played away on Saturday Morning. Last week we launched our latest fundraising event, in association with Balbriggan Rugby Club, Take Me Out Balbriggan. The event is scheduled to take place on Bank Holiday Sunday, 5th May in the Bracken Court Hotel. We are currently looking for 25 Ladies and 8 Gents who are game for a laugh. The Juvenile committee wish to thank all who attended there AGM last Thursday night it was a very productive meeting and we wish Aiden and his team all the best for the year ahead as they continue to develop our most important members. We hope everyone who attended our St Patricks Day celebrations in the club enjoyed the day and we would like to acknowledge all the hard work done by James and his team of helpers who provided catering for over 150 people .St Patricks Day also saw the opening of our new Juvenile room by Ciara Nally from Diageo who had kindly sponsored the project and we hope it will see plenty of use over the coming years.
