O’Dwyers 2-6

Clann Mhuire 1-6

A blend of youth and experience seems to be proving the right formula for the O’Dwyers management team of Ronan Nally and Joe Nulty as the Juniors opened their cup campaign with a win over local rivals Clann Mhuire last Sunday afternoon in Balbriggan.

Goals from Alan Howley and Colm O;Reilly as well as  scores from the evergreen Emmitt Mc Carroll and Minor Jamie Lyons seen the home team over the line in this tight affair ,O”Dwyers Defence Look solid With minor Keeper Peter Donoughe looking like he is going to be one to watch for the future with a string of fine saves and a faultless display as well as minor teammate  Darragh Boyne excelling in the half back line, coupled with a welcome return of Daniel Dunne to the middle of the field after a long sabbatical from the game.

Round Towers Lusk will prove the next test for this emerging team this Sunday away in the League @ 15.00 in Lusk  and we wish all the lads and the management all the best for the season.
