O'Dwyers Skills Weeks 2020

Targeted at our current players the O’Dwyers Skill Weeks provide boys and girls of the Club – between the ages of 4 and 13 – with an action-packed and fun-filled week of activity during the summer holidays which revolves around maximising enjoyment and sustaining participant involvement in Gaelic Games.

The week’s activities are game-based, with a strong emphasis placed on skill acquisition, and are organised in an age-appropriate manner with a view to optimising learning, enhancing friendships, improving physical and psychological wellbeing, promoting school and club links

Skills Weeks are open to:

To all OgDwyers nursery players (new and existing) aged 4-7 years of age
To existing O’Dwyers GAA players/members ONLY aged 8 and above

GAA Membership

Please ensure your child’s annual membership fee is paid in advance of the skills weeks. This is necessary to cover the player in the event of a sports injury whilst playing or training under the GAA Injury Benefit Fund. Note: GAA membership is not relevant to OgDwyers nursery players.

These fees can be paid online – once off payment or monthly installments over four months via our membership page OR weekly to Club registrar via cash on Saturday morning in the clubhouse between 11-1 pm.

If your child(ren) is unable to attend a given week/session, please contact your teams head coach to discuss options available
