Dublin LGFA: KEEP IT UP Kids Tv Show
KEEP IT UP is a brand new kids TV show being produced by Macalla for RTÉ Jnr.
It aims to explore why girls aged 11-14 drop out of sport and how we can get them back playing and part of a positive team environment. Right now Macalla are looking to speak to girls in that age bracket who no longer play and have stopped being involved.
Girls chosen will join the Keep It Up LGFA team and have fun with new friends while taking part in activities and getting advice from well-known mentors. This is not about producing the next superstar GAA player, it is about personal development and addressing the issues that see 50% of girls aged 13 quit sport.
Macalla are casting right now for the main roles which are open to girls from all backgrounds. Due to travel constraints girls will need to be from in or around the Dublin area as training will be close to the city. Please email keepitupgaa@gmail.com if you know of any girl who would be suitable and would benefit from this experience. Note: this is a Macalla project for RTÉ Jnr in conjunction with the LGFA Croke Park
